Tonkotsu Means...

Updated: Jan 23, 2020

Tonkotsu in Japanese means "pork" and "bones." So, it is the "pork-bone base ramen" in English.

Traditionally, the tonkotsu comes from Kyushu area on the western side of Japan. In Kyushu, many restaurants have developed their own unique tonkotsu flavors while keeping the basic procedure. It has become popular all over Japan. Today, there are a lot of unique tonkotsu flavors.

We keep this procedure to make tonkotsu and we serve the delicious ramen at Hero's Ramen x Sushi. Please try out our tasty ramen! For the other flavors, you can fined it on our menu! Also, we have spicy options on each bowl. You can adjust the spiciness level if you order with "Spicy on the side." For the details, please see here!

We are open 11am - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! We hope to see you!
